Apple is expected to make its new iOS 12 OS official at its Worldwide Developer Conference in June, the OS is expected to launch in September along with the three new iPhone X handsets.
According to a recent report, Apple is delaying some of features from this years iOS until next year. The reason it is apparently doing this is to focus on quality issues in iOS.
The news comes in a report from Ina Fried of Axios who has revealed that Apple’s Craig Federighi recently informed employees that the changes would be made to iOS 12 and some features would be pushed to next year.
Some of the features that are apparently being pushed to 2019 include a new home screen and in car interfaces, plus some updates to mail and the camera etc. Instead iOS 12 will being a range of stability and performance improvements as well as some of the new features.
Apple’s iOS 12 will come with a range of new feature but not all of those that the company has originally planned, instead some of these features will be released next year. They will probably arrive in one of Apple’s incremental updates. We are expecting iOS 12 to land some time in September along with the three new iPhone X handsets.
